CADO and JCAB Host SAF Registry Workshop in Tokyo

On 3 March, the CADO SAF Registry team, in collaboration with the Japan Civil Aviation Bureau (JCAB), hosted a SAF Registry workshop in Tokyo, Japan. The event brought together key stakeholders from across the Japanese SAF value chain, including producers, suppliers, aircraft operators, and downstream customers such as freight forwarders, end users, and intermediaries.

The workshop provided a detailed look at how SAF transactions within the Registry can take place among these stakeholders, enabling transparent tracking of SAF supply, and usage. It also highlighted how government and regulatory bodies can benefit from access to valuable market intelligence and visibility into these transactions for cross-checking compliance. In addition, the session demonstrated how regulatory claims, such as CORSIA claims, can be easily facilitated through the Registry.
